holdall is closing from 31 March 2021

Park & Ride

The holdall smartcard scheme for Park & Ride will be closing on 31 March 2021. The scheme is closing because there are now other smart ways to buy tickets for the Park & Ride service by either using contactless payments on the bus or using the KonectBus App.

Therefore:

  • It is no longer possible to get a new holdall card, but you can still buy tickets or replace a lost card using the website as usual until the end of March.
  • Tickets on your card should be used by 30 June 2021, if at all possible. However, if you still have unused tickets at the end of June, these will be replaced by a Konect ticket of the same type/duration.
  • You can purchase Park & Ride tickets using the East Anglia Buses app, although this App is switching to another platform soon, so it would be best to wait until the new App is available before signing up. You can find more information about the App here.
  • KonectBus will also be introducing Pay as You Go fare capping so you can use your credit/debit card on the bus and only be charged the cheapest way to travel for a single day or the whole week.


sQuid

Please do not add any additional balance to your holdall card.

If you have a sQuid balance on your Holdall card, you can continue to use it to buy travel until 30 April 2021, unless the bus operator has discontinued it before this. After then you can get a full refund of any remaining balance by emailing support@talktosam.co.uk and providing your card number, name, address and contact details.

Confirm card replacement
